The Honeymoon is Over

I guess you can add me to the woman's work force! On Friday my boss was rip roaring and was pretty nasty, I ended up in the bathroom in tears. Now I know I must stand up for myself, I can't let her make me feel this way, and not say anything about it. I do plan on talking with her on Monday.

I worked at a flower shop for a few years and ever holiday this one woman (who def needed medication!) would explode and curse, scream and other wise make me feel like shit just for doing my job. She had the job of wrapping ever arrangement that was sent out, now when you have three designers pumping out the orders, and one person wrapping to be delivered, it is a crazy job. But there were so many times when I was so happy, practically skipping into the back room because I made the delivery deadline with this last order, and Ruth would implode and scream at me, "Another Fucking Delivery???"

I would never say anything, to be honest with you, this woman was near 70 years old and I would be in shock at first! But this happened so often over the three years that I worked there, and I never stood up to her....not until the last time it happened, I swore back, told her she could do the rest of the fucking orders herself and walked out, never to return!

I know I need to get a back bone, stand up for myself and not let it go on and on, I do not want to repeat history.
